Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice (Day Shift & Night Shift Opportunities)

As a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice, you will support the warehouse team with a range of day-to-day activities, including: Picking and preparing furniture orders for dispatch Loading furniture safely and efficiently for delivery Assisting with furniture assembly where required Organising and moving stock throughout the warehouse Receiving and unloading furniture consignments safely Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Retrieving items and materials for the wider warehouse team Loading vehicles and checking goods are secure for transport Completing paperwork linked to stock movements and customer orders Reporting any discrepancies or issues to supervisors Supporting stock transfers between locations Providing a professional and friendly service when interacting with colleagues and customers Following all company health and safety procedures at all times Please note, this role is physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet and lifting/moving heavy objects for large portions of your day.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent Warehouse Operative position, along with opportunities to develop into more senior warehouse, logistics or supervisory roles. Additional training such as forklift qualifications may also be available to support future career development. The employer has identified a forklift reach licence as a desirable skill within the role.
